I can’t do what I want, but I do what I can

Do you ever wake up and feel like you just can’t be bothered?

That happened to me yesterday morning

The old ‘can’t I just stay in bed’?

The thing is I’m a bit beaten up at the moment

I can’t do a lot of things I enjoy doing

I have a tendon tear in my wrist

And I have a dodgy back (ongoing and frustrating)

So the things that I normally enjoy doing each week

Weight lifting

I can’t do any of them

And it’s been like this for 2 weeks

It’s like being in a prison for my body and mind!

I’m bored and boredom leads to bad habits

I am sure you know this cycle too?

So what do you do when you can’t do the things that you want to do?

Probably a bit of all of those, am I right?

But if you want to fit into that slinky black dress that you bought a size too small

If you want to feel great when you try on that bikini for your summer holiday

Get the body that you deserve

If you want to feel confident when you look in the mirror….

When you cannot do what you WANT

In my case this means lots of walking

I walk to and from work

I get out walking 4-5 times per week delivering leaflets for my business

I am doing what I can to help myself

I can feel my body changing and I don’t like it

But I can only do what I can do

Are you doing what you CAN …. to get where you want to BE?

Be honest now?

You will get absolutely no where if you are not prepared to do what you can

Even if like me, you can’t do what you want
